OASIS 75 FAQ
How to solve the issue of automatic typing?
SITUATION 1: If all the values are set to the lowest, and the keyboard starts automatically typing
A: This is unavoidable because we have achieved true zero dead zone.
we recommend setting the initial travel (pre-travel) range to 0.2-3mm.If you set the value of Initial travel to the minimum of 0mm, even though our dynamic trigger travel has a minimum value of 0.04mm, slight voltage fluctuations, gentle impacts, light touches, or placing a magnet on it will trigger the button. This is what we refer to as a true zero dead zone.
SITUATION 2: If the keyboard starts typing automatically as soon as it's connected to power.
A: please try restoring it to factory settings by pressing FN + space bar.
SITUATION 3: If none of the above situations apply, it may be due to shipping issues.
A: Our product is considered a precision instrument. Due to the possibility of the keyboard becoming loose during overseas shipping, if you experience automatic typing and are unable to reset the driver upon receiving the product, please try the following solutions:
- If a single key is typing automatically, remove the switch of the key that is typing automatically and reinstall it.
- If the keyboard is controlling the computer, unplug the power cable, firmly press down on the keyboard to stabilize it, and then plug the power cable back in and try again.
Why does the Oasis75 still have connection issues even after the parameters are set correctly?
A: You need to re-save the settings or reconnect the cables to recalibrate the switches. (Be careful not to touch the keyboard during this process)
What to do if the ALT and WIN keys are swapped?
A: Switch the mode from MAC to WIN by toggling the switch located in front of the keyboard.
Why does the keyboard get slightly warm after extended use?
It's normal for keyboards to generate some heat after prolonged use. This is because the operational principle of magnetic switches generates heat, resulting in the keyboard feeling warm.
Does 8k polling rate increase CPU load or cause other performance issues?
In our tests, we did not measure any performance issues or significant increase in CPU load.
Does the 75 support mixed switches?
Currently, the driver only allows setting parameters for one type of switch at a time. In the case of mixed switches, consistency in keyboard feel across all keys cannot be guaranteed. It is recommended to use one type of switch for the entire keyboard.
Which computer systems does Oasis75 support?
Win/Mac/Linux
Is the software for Oasis75 self-developed?
Yes, all software drivers for Oasis75 are self-developed.
In what form will the subsequent mechanical switch versions of the 75 be released?
Complete replacement kits for mechanical switches, low-profile switches, and electrostatic capacitive switches will be available. The kits will come pre-assembled with stacked switches. To switch from the magnetic switch version to one of these versions, simply follow the tutorial and screw in the replacement kit.
Can the OASIS75 only be connected via a wired connection? Besides the original USB cable, what other USB cables does the OASIS75 support?
The magnetic switches can only be connected via a wired connection. Bluetooth and 2.4G would affect the performance and stability required for the magnetic switches. In theory, all USB 2.0 cables are compatible. In the future, we will also release right-angle cables for gamers tilt their keyboards.
Can the footrest of OASIS75 be adjusted or removed?
The footrest cannot be adjusted in height. In theory, it can be removed, but it is not recommended.
What is the difference between the dual-track magnetic white switch and the black jade switch?
Dual-track magnetic white switch: Initial force: 30gf Total travel: 4.0±0.2mm Bottom-out force: 50gf Spring: 15mm. The initial force is similar, but the black jade switch has a total travel of 3.5mm, which is shorter than the Dual-track magnetic white switch, resulting in quicker actuation. Additionally, the black jade switch features a close bottom structure, making the keyboard more stable, and also resulting in slightly better sound quality.
Is it a 0 dead zone
Yes, Oasis75 Ensures each keystroke is accurate and error-free. The lower the lift distance, the faster the counter strafe.
What should be noted about the wiring for the 75?
The data cable needs to be plugged into the USB 2.0 or higher port on the back of the motherboard. If connecting to a dock station, use a dock station with independent power supply.
Is the stability of the dual-rail magnetic white switch good?
Due to the lack of a bottom enclosure, the dual-rail magnetic white switch has a much larger space for movement. Deliberate rocking or pressing at an angle can easily cause it to deviate from its original voltage range, leading to connection issues. Increasing the drive's disconnect protection (≥0.08) can solve this problem.
Can the Oasis 75's polling rate be adjusted?
The wired connection default polling rate is 8k and is not adjustable.
Why doesn't Oasis75 achieve 0.01mm accuracy?
0.01mm is unstable and inaccurate. Based on test results, 0.04mm is the most accurate.
Voltage recognition is a range value, not an exact value. The accuracy of other keyboards' tests is not absolutely precise.
However, we achieve an absolute precision of 0.04mm because we developed a proprietary adaptive algorithm that only recognizes a movement of exactly 0.04mm.
